Trail of Cthulhu: Pulp or Be Pulped!

GM: Adrian Romero
Type: RPG
System: Trail of Cthulhu
Players: 5
Power Level: Mid-level
Rules Knowledge: Beginners Welcome
Game Content: Mature Themes

Epic globe-trotting pulpy 1920’s struggle against Cthulhu, using the very lite Trail of Cthulhu system. As we begin, your investigators have already had their first confrontation with the terrifying cosmic horror that threatens our very reality, and have emerged victorious. Now they pursue loose ends with awareness of the deadly and maddening stakes. Things you will not find in this session: railroading, dead ends, red herrings, excessive meandering investigative conversations, historical nitpicking. Things you may find: garroting/defenestrating/subway-shoving thugs, red string and corkboard, jazz clubs, expressive smoking, historical inspiration, ghastly corpses, tweed, tramps (steamer, gum-chewing, and rail-riding), rope, over-moist and unshod foot-prints, quite possibly biplanes, vast intelligences from beyond space and time, fungi. This game is great for both new and experienced gamers who can make bold choices and use their voices, and who fear boredom more than character death. If your character is slain, we’ll give you another and get you back into the action. We'll use the Trail of Cthulhu rules, which are straightforward and very well-designed. No experience of these rules or other rpgs is necessary :)
