DunDraCon Protospiel Game Submission

Last Day to Register Protospiel Games is January 29, 2027, by 5 PM PST.

DunDraCon 50 is hosting another 4 amazing days of prototype game testing in the Protospiel room. This is the opportunity for game players to meet and game with game designers who need to get their games play-tested. These are original, unpublished, board games, card games, and role-playing game designs you can't buy in a store yet. The designers are looking for your player feedback and your uncanny way of breaking their rules. There will be sponsored prizes, daily raffles, snacks, and the chance for all DunDraCon members to test next year’s greatest games.

We are currently accepting Protospiel Game submissions, and as in past conventions, it is important that we get your submissions earlier rather than later. Planning on playtesting one or more original, unpublished, game designs at the Protospiel? Let the rest of the Convention know by telling us about it with the Protospiel Game submission button below.

Important! Important! You should receive an acknowledgement of your Protospiel Game request from us within two weeks. If you do not hear from us within that time, please email our Protospiel Coordinator. Every year, there are a handful of submissions that never reach us for reasons outside our control. If you don't follow up in the event of a delay, we might never know you submitted a proposal. You are welcome in Protospiel even if you do not make a submission by the deadline above. The submission is solely a method of publicizing what you intend to present at the Protospiel. As most games are not scheduled, you will still have the opportunity to put your game on the table when space is available.

Some games can be scheduled, if they are heavier weight, are expected to run 2-3 hours, and are at a late beta stage of development. However, scheduling will be limited by space available and the need for unscheduled space.

The Small Print: DunDraCon, Inc. reserves the right to not post games that we deem are inappropriate or offensive. Submitting a game does not guarantee you space in the Protospiel. This form simply gets your game up on the website as a designer that hopes to offer a pre-publication game or games for playtest. Nothing more is implied or guaranteed.
