Ironclad warships built between 1870 and 1895 were unique and experimental, and since few of them ever fought, we don't really know how they would have done in combat. We have to play a wargame to find out. It's 1895, and Anglo-French relations have boiled over into full naval conflict. A French fleet of powerful ironclad battleships has blockaded the Suez canal, but the British Mediterranean fleet has arrived to break it. We'll fight a battle using Fleet Of Samples, experimental rules for experimental ships using experimental tactics with experimental guns, experimental armor, and those newfangled 'automotive torpedoes' the naval press raves about. Colonel Robert Franklin, commander of 1st battalion, 117th IR holding the bridge calls up for engineers to destroy the bridge.

The Battle of Tukayyid, the proxy battle between the Invading Clans and ComStar for control of Terra and a 15-year truce took place over 3 weeks in May of 3052 on the world of Tukayyid. This game will focus on one of the battles between the remains of Alpha Galaxy of Clan Nova Cat and ComStar for the city of Tost. One of the two objectives the Nova Cat’s must claim to win their portion of the trial. So far things have not gone well for the Nova Cat’s and they are desperate to get a foot hold in the city. Game will use the Total Warfare ruleset with some advanced/optional/house rules, as well as the Battlefield Asset Rules from the Mercenaries Box set. Experience with these rules is not needed. Map will be 3d printed terrain and plastic painted minis.
