Merch at DunDraCon 48
Yes, we'll have merch! Our own merch, for the first time! You can see it at our table in the Dealer's Room Friday through Sunday, and if we have anything left, we'll have a table outside the Bazaar on Monday. (Games of Berkeley will still have their traditional convention-numbered dice, and some other dealers may offer con-themed stuff as well - we're adding to the fun, not interfering with it!)What kind of merch? We're waiting to announce the details as things arrive, but the gorgeous 2" challenge coins are here already. Think shirts, lanyards, who knows....as we get new products delivered, we will post some details on the website.
A Few Comments on Our Policies
There are some things we are not going to do, and some things we are definitely going to do, for DDC 48: We will sell without charging you sales tax. The prices will be adjusted to take sales tax into account, and all items will be paid for in whole dollars. Cash is fine; we also hope to have a credit card reader. We may hold some goods back on Friday, and again on Saturday morning, to make sure the early birds don’t get all the worms.
We will welcome comments and suggestions to help us improve our offerings for DDC 49, and these should be directed to whoever is occupying our table in the Dealers’ Room; we’ll be taking notes. We're mainly looking for things a lot of people will want, but if you want to suggest a plushie of Sparky or a life-size standee if the entire DDC committee, go right ahead.
There are some things we are not doing this first go-round:
- No online sales.
- No orders on-line reserving goods for pick-up.
- No refunds or exchanges. All sales are final. Since you can see the condition of everything when you buy, you can do your own due diligence.
- No deliveries. If you buy something, take it with you. Yeah, the standee of the entire committee is pretty unwieldy, but you did specify life-size.
- No discounts to clear items. We’ll hold anything unsold for the next convention.
- No haggling—that’s sort of a role-playing thing, right? Anyway, the price is the price.
By the way, we haven’t set prices on anything yet, and won’t until close to the convention.
Long story short: We want to offer you fun stuff with quality, at several different price points. Enjoy!
